Lagoon Boy's travels lead him to
Gotham in YOUNG JUSTICE
NO MAN'S LAND SPECIAL #1 [1999]. |

Landlovers
Though young and slight of build, the aquatic young mutant known as Lagoon Boy can inflate his body like a puffer fish to intimidate predators and foes. The young sea dweller one day journeyed to Atlantis to celebrate Aquaman's birthday. There, Lagoon Boy met the mutated speaking whale known as Bludder and the Trironian mermaid, Sheeva. Sharing a love for the culture of the surface world, the trio quickly became friends and called themselves "The Landlovers."
The three friends began to explore the frontier above the waves, bringing the surface's rich cultural and commercial diversity back to Poseidonis. The Landlovers hoped the denizens of the deep would learn to embrace the worldly delights of Super-Gulps, MTV, video games and Big Belly Burgers.

Lagoon Boy's travels eventually led him to Gotham City, where he helped Robin, Superboy and Impulse stop Kobra's latest terrorist plot.
Lagoon Boy later helped Young Justice defeat Klarion the Witch Boy, after the mischievous magic-user turned the adult heroes into teens and their teen heroes into adults. After the final showdown with Klarion, Lagoon Boy temporarily joined a make-shift Young Justice team composed of Beast Boy, Flamebird, Captain Marvel Jr. and Batgirl. Together, they stopped Li'l Lobo and Klarion from killing each other and everyone around them.
Lagoon Boy returned to aid Young Justice and a cadre of young heroes in assaulting Zandia.

Titans East Massacre
After reclaiming Titans Island on the East River, Cyborg set out to create an East Coast Titans team. After the elder Titans turned down membership, Cyborg gathered a Titans East composed of Hawk & Dove, Power Boy, Little Barda, Anima, Lagoon Boy and Son of Vulcan.
During a routine training exercise, Cyborg ordered the rest of the team to take down Power Boy. But the newest Titans were shocked to discover Power Boy's burned corpse hanging from a tree. Before the team could react, they were savagely attacked by the children of Trigon. This onslaught left Lagoon Boy comatose.

Though young and slight of build, the aquatic young mutant known as Lagoon Boy can inflate his body like a puffer fish to intimidate predators and foes. Lagoon Boy can also communicate some some forms of aquatic life. His unique physiology also allows him to breathe underwater and withstand the pressures of the ocean depths.
