Titans Timeline


11 YEARS AGO

Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad unite in Hatton Corners to defeat the villain Mr. Twister. Later, the three join forces with Wonder Girl and Speedy to prevent their mind-controlled mentors in the Justice League of America from committing a crime spree. United as a team, they call themselves the Teen Titans.

The Teen Titans first meet Changeling, named Beast Boy at the time, and later battle the Mad Mod and the Gargoyle, a transformed Mister Twister.

The Soviet teen hero Red Star teams up with the Titans to stop an international jewel thief. Kid Flash, then a political conservative, immediately takes a dislike to the Communist hero.

As Speedy and Wonder Girl begin dating, the Teen Titans first encounter the original Hawk and Dove, and Lilith.

The Teen Titans are framed for the murder of Doctor Arthur Swensen, and give up their costumes and the use of their powers. The Titans come under the tutelage of Loren Jupiter, a rich philanthropist.

10 YEARS AGO

Robin eventually solves the Swensen case and the Titans are cleared of the murder. They return to their costumed identities, and Hawk and Dove leave the group.

Having saved his life in a gang fight, the Teen Titans befriend Mal Duncan. He accidentally frees the Gargoyle from limbo, but defeats the villain. Mal meets Karen Beecher and the two fall in love.

The group disbands after helping an old man rid his estate of a demonic race of creatures.

9 YEARS AGO

Speedy becomes a heroin addict but is helped through his addiction by Green Arrow and Black Canary.

Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Speedy, and Mal are lured to Titans Lair by Doctor Light, where the villain is defeated by Mal, making his first appearance as the Herald.

The Gabriel's Horn headquarters is established, as Karen Beecher becomes the Bumblebee and Duela Dent helps the group defeat Two-Face as the Harlequin.

Golden Eagle, Flamebird, Hawk, Dove, Beast Boy, and Lilith become Titans West and join forces with the Teen Titans to defeat Captain Calamity/Mr. Esper. Soon after, both Titans teams disbanded.

8 YEARS AGO

There was no formal Teen Titans group for a year, as members pursued solo careers and their studies.

As Batman and Robin battle the Joker, Robin is shot and almost fatally wounded. Rather than see Dick be further endangered, Batman "fires" his partner, sidelining the Boy Wonder for a time. Dick leaves Wayne Manor, attends Hudson University and resumes crimefighting as Robin without Batman.

Following high school graduation, Donna Troy becomes roomates with Sharon Tracy and begins her photography career.

7 YEARS AGO

Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, and Changeling (formerly Beast Boy) are gathered along with Starfire and Cyborg by the empath Raven to battle the demonic Trigon. They become the New Teen Titans.

The new Titans first encounter the H.I.V.E. and their operatives the Ravager and Deathstroke the Terminator.
The team battles the Justice League for the second time, as well as Doctor Light and the Fearsome Five.

Deathstroke nearly kills Changeling. He's healed by Raven and the Titans join forces with Robotman to prevent Madame Rouge and General ZahI from destroying Zandia. The new Brotherhood of Evil appears.

The Titans encounter Kid Flash's childhood friend Frances Kane when she manifests magnetic powers, and later come into conflict with Red Star.

The team first confronts Brother Blood and his acolytes in the Church of Blood.

Starfires sister Blackfire comes to Earth, kidnaps Starfire, and the two battle on Tamaran. The New Titans team up with the interstellar Omega Men to prevent a cosmic war and take Starfire back to Earth.

Speedy temporarily joins the team to help stop drug runners, and the team later encounters the Brotherhood of Evil and Thunder and Lightning.

The sociopathic spy Terra joins the team, working for Deathstroke. Changeling begins to fall in love with the girl.

6 YEARS AGO

Robin and the New Titans help D.A. Adrian Chase defeat mob boss Anthony Sarapelli, who later becomes the Vigilante. The assassin Cheshire makes herself known, especially to Speedy.

Robin helps Wonder Girl dig up remnants of her past, and later, Kid Flash quits the team and Dick Grayson gives up being Robin.

After battling Brother Blood, Terra gives her collected information on the Titans to Deathstroke, who captures each of the teen heroes and delivers them to the H.I.V.E. Dick Grayson becomes Nightwing, joins forces with Deathstroke's son Jericho, and helps free the Titans, but not before Terra kills herself. This event is catalogued as "The Judas Contract."

Aqualad and Aquagirl help the Titans bring an end to the H.I.V.E.

Donna Troy marries Terry Long, and the Titans and Lilith encounter Azrael I.

Deathstroke goes on trial for his crimes and confronts Changeling, and the two forge an uneasy peace. Later, Cyborg's metallic parts are replaced with human simulacrums, but his body rejects them. At the some time, the Titans battle the Fearsome Five, and Jericho is made a full member of the team.

5 YEARS AGO

Trigon takes control of Raven and takes over the planet. The Titans, with the help of Lilith, eventually destroy him... or so they think. Soon after, they meet the crystal-spinning Kole.

The Crisis on Infinite Earths occurs, and Barry Allen, the Flash, is murdered by the Anti-Monitor. Kid Flash becomes the Flash. Kole, Aquagirl, and the Dove are slain during the Crisis.

Starfire is taken back to Tamaran to enter a political marriage to support a peace treaty. Nightwing and Jericho accompany her, only to discover Tamaran has been taken over by Blackfire. The two leave Starfire on Tamaran and return to Earth.

On Earth, Changeling's father Mento almost kills Cyborg. Wonder Girl reorganizes the original Titans to help CBI agent King Faraday defeat Cheshire. Cheshire reveals that Speedy is the father of her baby girl, Lian, and frames the Titans for a murder attempt on Brother Blood. Dick Grayson infiltrates the Church of Blood and discovers Raven, returned to Earth as an acolyte of Blood's.

The Titans confront Changeling's deranged father Mento and his twisted version of the Doom Patrol, called the Hybrid, and later the Brotherhood of Evil. Starfire returns to Earth. The Titans and other heroes join forces to finally defeat Brother Blood.

4 YEARS AGO

The villainous Wildebeest Society is introduced. Danny Chase, a telekinetic, is admitted to the team after helping them defeat the mercenary Godiva.

Red Star comes to the United States to prevent Hammer and Sickle from destroying a peaceful exchange of information between America and Russia.

The Titans of Myth return to Earth to collect Wonder Girl so that she might help the gods defeat Sparta, a renegade Titan. Wonder Girl learns that she was raised by the Titans of Myth, is given new powers, and takes on the code name Troia. After this adventure, the team drops the "teen" part of their name and refer to themselves as "the New Titans."

Jason Todd is killed by the Joker, and the Alien Alliance invades Earth. Danny Chase is asked to leave the Titans by Nightwing, who will not take responsibility for someone so young on the team.

Speedy rejoins the Titans as Nightwing joins forces with Batman to defeat Two-Face. Having discovered both their identities, Tim Drake eventually becomes the new Robin.

Deathstroke comes out of retirement to help the New Titans defeat lycanthropic creatures, one of which has taken over Raven. Titans West reassembles briefly. Soon after, the mysterious Phantasm appears.

The Trigon-possessed souls of Azarath take over the Wildebeest Society in an attempt to create bodies to house their energies. Jericho is possessed, takes control of the Society, and kidnaps and nearly destroys the Titans before being killed by his own father, Deathstroke the Terminator. In the ensuing battles, Golden Eagle is slain, Cyborg is nearly destroyed, Titans Tower is demolished, and Phantasm is revealed to be Danny Chase, who is himself slain along with Raven's mother Arella as the Titans defeat the Wildebeests. Raven is transformed utterly and disappears. This event is catalogued as "Titans Hunt."

Pantha, a renegade "baby" Wildebeest, and Red Star join the team. A mindless Cyborg is recreated through Russian technology.

Hawk becomes Monarch.

The Team Titans are created by Monarch to assassinate Earth's heroes. Their first mission is to kill the pregnant Troia before she gives birth to her son, who could become a god-powered dictator in the future. The Team is defeated, and Troia, having lost her powers, gives birth to a normal baby boy.

Mirage of the Team Titans kidnaps Starfire and impersonates her so that she can date Nightwing. Mirage is eventually attacked and raped by the villainous Deathwing.

Red Star tries to prevent Cyborg, under control of government radicals, from assassinating Boris Yeltsin.

3 YEARS AGO

Speedy becomes Arsenal.

Nightwing and Starfire's wedding is interrupted by the return of Raven, now a villainous avatar of Trigon. Starfire is implanted with a Raven "seed" which causes her to leave Earth and go on a spiritual journey.

Donna Troy becomes a Darkstar and divorces her husband. During the Zero Hour Crisis, the Team Titans are wiped out of existence, save "the new Terra" and Mirage, and Damage's powers help restart the universe.

A group of technological aliens comes to Earth and tries to fuse Cyborg's soul with theirs. These beings, called the Technis, transform Cyborg into Cyberion.

Under government control, Arsenal leads a new team of Titans, including Supergirl, Impulse, Damage, Green Lantern Darkstar, Mirage, Terra, and Minion. Government funded and based in New Jersey, they join forces with the Darkstars and have several adventures in space.

When Raven returns with alien allies, the team joins forces with Changeling and Starfire and defeats Raven and her "Trigon seeds," psychic embryos housing the Trigon-tainted souls of Raven's brothers and sisters. Changeling, a reformed Raven, and Minion stay with Cyberion, while Darkstar, Green Lantern, and the others return to Earth. Mirage has her baby.

Aqualad becomes Tempest.

Arsenal's team disbands. Soon after, three teenagers are kidnapped by the alien H'San Natall and joined by a fourth, as well as by the Atom. Dubbed Argent, Joto, Prysm, and Risk, these teenagers are taken in by Loren Jupiter and the mysterious Omen and become the new Teen Titans.

The Teen Titans battle Dark Nemesis and the xenophobic Pylon, and join forces with Travis Morgan, the Warlord, in Skartaris. They meet Fringe, another H'San Natall-created Titan, and Prysm becomes his protector.

Joined by Nightwing, Flash, Tempest, and Arsenal, the Teen Titans battle Haze, Mr. Jupiter's son, and discover Omen is Lilith, Haze's sister. During the event, Joto is seemingly killed.

After a recruitment drive, Captain Marvel, Jr. joins the team, and Changeling returns to Earth when Cyberion begins pursuing his Technis Imperative.

After a confrontation with Deathstroke, the teens are taken to Titan, the moon of Saturn, where they confront their H'San Natall creators and Prysm's mother. Joto is resurrected, and Prysm and Fringe decide to remain on Titan.

2 YEARS AGO

Having collected a planet-size assortment of technological debris, Cyberion journeys to Earth to turn its moon into a new Technis world and populate it with his Titans allies. The JLA and the Titans first clash, then unite, to prevent Cyberion from destroying the planet while saving Vic's soul and downloading it into Minion's morphing battlesuit, the Omegadrome.

The original five members, plus five others - Cyborg, Argent, Damage, Starfire and Jesse Quick - become a new Titans team, which reestablishes its headquarters on an island in New York City's East River.

The Titans encounter new adversaries, including the demonic Goth, newly reformed H.I.V.E., and Vandal Savage's anti-Titans group called Tartarus.

Various missions and circumstances lead team members to leave the Titans. Starfire decides to stay of the world of Karna to help rebuild the Tamaranian culture; Damage leaves the team to do some soul searching and finally deal with the emotional scars of his abuse as a child; Cyborg is granted a new human cloned body and embarks on a new life; the Flash steps down in an effort to cajole Jesse Quick to resume her membership on the team.

Gar Logan moves to L.A. and encounters Madame Rouge's daughter, Gemini. He is able to defeat her with the help of a new-and-improved Flamebird. Together, they establish a West Coast Titans team called Titans L.A.; The team quickly dissolves.

The Titans encounter a mysterious youth known as Epsilon, who is possessed by one of the DEO orphans. The orphans' plan to seek sanctuary at Titans Tower backfires when the real Epsilon emerges and destroys the Tower headquarters.

The Titans and Young Justice face a rogue android from the future, resulting in the deaths of Donna Troy and Omen. Following this tragedy, both groups disband.

Deciding the next generation of super-heroes needs a place to go, Cyborg, Starfire and Beast Boy create a new Titans Tower headquarters in San Francisco. Joined by Robin, Superboy, Wonder Girl  and Impulse, they become the latest version of Teen Titans.

Arsenal assembles a new team of heroes and persuades the reluctant Nightwing to join the team as well. Joined by the reformatted Indigo, Metamorpho, Jade and new heroes Thunder and Grace, the Outsiders vow to proactively hunt down villains before they can strike.

The Teen Titans face Deatshtroke, who is possessed by Jericho; Impulse becomes Kid Flash.

Brother Blood resurrects Raven to be his bride, while Deathsroke and the new Ravager (Rose Wilson) hunt the Titans. Rose - psychotic from the "Deatshtroke serum" - gouges out her own eye to emulate her father.

The Teen Titans team up with the Legion of Superheroes and, during their time jaunt, meet themselves 10 years in the future.

Luthor controls Superboy to attack his friends; Indigo betrays the Outsiders.

The Teen Titans and the Outsiders discover Donna Troy is alive on New Chronus. Donna discovers her identity as a living focal point of the multiverse.

Dr. Light battles Titans, past and present; Speedy joins the Teen Titans.

1 YEAR AGO

The Titans aid the heroes during the Infinite Crisis. Their battle with the rampaging Superboy-Prime leads to the deaths of Pantha, Baby Wildebeest and Bushido, while Risk loses his right arm. Wally West and the speedsters contain Superboy-Prime and Wally completely disappears with his wife and twin children. Donna Troy leads a group of heroes on a mission in outer space. While saving the universe from Superboy-Prime and Alexander Luthor, Superboy is killed in battle. Bart Allen returns from the speed force aged four years and powerless. Starfire, Cyborg, Herald and Bumblebee are missing in space.

In the wake of Infinite Crisis, Donna Troy acquires Harbinger's orb.

Nightwing goes underground with the presumed-dead Outsiders (Grace, Thunder, Metamorpho and Katana) as well as the reformed Captain Boomerang. Arsenal decides to leave the team.

Tim Drake and Dick Grayson leave to travel the world with Bruce Wayne.

"Retired" from super-heroics, a powerless Bart Allen settles in Keystone City.

Taking leave from the Titans, Wonder Girl becomes involved with the "Cult of Conner" in an effort to bring back Superboy.

With Superboy, Wonder Girl, Robin, Kid Flash, Starfire and Cyborg gone, Raven and Beast Boy try to keep the Teen Titans together. Over 20 members come and go in a year's time.

After an injury, Speedy goes into seclusion with Conner Hawke and Oliver Queen on an island for a little more than a year.

Starfire finds herself marooned in space with Animal Man and Adam Strange.

Herald, Bumblebee and Cyborg return to earth with several lost heroes; Herald's Gabriel Horn has merged in his body while Red Tornado's speaker apparatus has become imbedded in his chest. Bumblebee has shrunk to 6 inches high. After Mal Duncan and Karen Beecher partially recover, the Chief invites them to join the Doom Patrol as Vox and Bumblebee.

Joto changes his codename to Hotspot and gets a new costume.

Beast Boy's rag-tag team of Titans - Raven, Power Boy, Little Barda, Zatara and Hotspot - meet Luthor's new Infinity, Inc. team of "heroes." During the battle, Infinity member Eliza Harmon dies.

Twin geniuses Wendy and Marvin aid the Titans in trying to rebuild Cyborg. It takes them six months to complete the process.

The Titans - Beast Boy, Raven, Offspring and Aquagirl - assist Steel in assaulting Lexcorp and exposing Lex's manipulations.

Red Star repels an alien invasion in the heart of Moscow - earning the praise and accolades of his people. So much so, the president appoints Red Star "State Protector" - a title the young hero takes quite seriously. Red Star co-opts the fallen alien spacecraft for his own use: to observe and protect his nation using super-technology.

With Zatara's help, Kid Devil summons Neron and makes a dangerous deal with the demon. After being transformed into an honest-to-gosh red-skinned creature, Kid Devil joins the Teen Titans.

When Black Adam ignites World War III, Donna Troy temporarily assumes the mantle of Wonder Woman.

The Titans - Beast Boy, Raven, Offspring, Talon, Young Frankenstein, Hawk & Dove and Terra - confront a rampaging Black Adam in Greece. Black Adam brutally kills both Young Frankenstein and Terra.

Raven leaves the team to track down a traitor in their midst. Beast Boy leaves the team to aid the Doom Patrol.

After breaking free from her father, Ravager joins the Teen Titans at the request of Nightwing.

THIS YEAR

Bart Allen assumes the mantle of the Flash. Robin returns from Europe. A rebuilt Cyborg awakens. The only active Titans members are Robin, Ravager and Kid Devil. The team encounters the new Brotherhood of Evil. Wonder Girl is angered at Robin for abandoning his friends after Superboy’s death, but rejoins the team.

Raven resurrects Jericho in a new body as the team exposes Bombshell as a traitor. Jericho, Raven and Miss Martian rejoin the team.

The Teen Titans face Deathstroke's Titans East team.

Bart Allen, as the Flash, is murdered by Inertia and his team of Rogues. Wally West returns with Linda and his twin children, now hyper-aged to 8 and 10 years old.
