NICK CARDY was the premiere artist for Teen Titans when the team premiered and received their own series in 1965.
Cardy's art defined the Teen Titans in the 1960s and into the 1970s. I first met Nick at Wizard World Philadelphia in 2003.
It was a thrill to meet a living comic book legend. And Nick was gracious and talkative with fans.
I contracted Nick to draw the original Fab Five Titans as they looked when they debuted in 1965.

GEORGE PÉREZ and Marv Wolfman redefined the Teen Titans when they launched the New Teen Titans in 1980.
New Teen Titans became a phenomenal hit
and George's renditions of the characters became as memorable
as Cardy's - yet updated for a new generation. I've met George several times and his reputation as
"one of the nicest guys in comics" is well deserved. I contracted George to draw the original Fab Five
as they appeared circa 1983 - at the height of Marv & George's run.
PHIL JIMENEZ grew up on the New Teen Titans - and was heavily influenced by George Pérez. In his comics career,
Phil has become the modern-era Titans artist extraordinaire - drawing inspiration from the past while adding his own unique
take on the characters. Beyond being a spectacular artist, Phil is a heck of a nice guy to boot. At every convention, Phil
serves up free sketches and interesting conversation; Most of these sketches were secured at San Diego Comic Con 2005.
I asked Phil to draw the original Titans as they looked in 2005
