Master Of Games

Titans Tower File Photos:

Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy were transported to an alternate dimension. There, the mysterious Master of Games invited our heroes and five other superpowered teens (Aqualad, Speedy, Gizmo, Hotspot, and Wildebeest) to participate in a friendly competition: The Tournament of Heroes. As the contest raged on, Robin became more and more determined to win – while Cyborg became more and more worried about what happens to the losers after they disappear.

The contest was actually a ruse – the Master of Games was out to steal their super-abilities to use for his own evil purposes. The boy heroes joined together to defeat the Master of Games.

The Master of Games continued his deception a second time and declared The Tournament of Heroines. The details of that case remain unrevealed.

  • The episode featuring the Master of Games was originally titled “It’s How You Play The Game” but it was retitled “Winner Take All.”
  • “Winner Take All” almost featured some additional characters from the Titans comic book history. Jericho was considered, but didn’t make the final script.

Master of Games did not appear in the comic books; He was created for the animated series.
