 History

Marcy Reynolds met Vic Stone when he attended pubic high school. The two teenagers were attracted to each other and began dating. At that time, Vic began making friends and showing great athletic potential.

After Vic’s transformation into Cyborg, he attempted an unsuccessful reunion with his former girlfriend. Marcy was shocked at his new appearance and was shaken by his visit. Seeing that Marcy was unable to cope with his new look, Vic left, thus ending their relationship. Vic then unexpectedly became friends with Sarah Simms, a teacher, and her class of handicapped students.

Later, Marcy joined the Church of Brother Blood, a pseudo-religious commune. She realized the church was a sham and fled. As she tried to escape, she was hunted down by Brother Blood’s soldiers. As she called Vic Stone for help, she was murdered by Blood’s followers.

Marcy is unnerved at Vic’s appearance in NEW TEEN TITANS #8 [1981].
