Hero History

Young Danny was recruited by Red Robin to help him infiltrate the evil N.O.W.H.E.R.E. organization, a group that  captured and corrupted meta-human teenagers. But during the course of his mission, Danny himself was abducted and subjected to N.O.W.H.E.R.E.’s bizarre experiments. This resulted in “Danny The Street” – a sentient, transvestite patch of pavement with the power to teleport himself into the layout of any city or town.

When fellow captives Kid Flash and Solstice fled from N.O.W.H.E.R.E.’s Arctic prison, they were almost killed in an avalanche. But the pair was rescued by the unlikely arrival of a cobbled street lined with frilly sporting good stores and gun shops decorated with lace. Unknown to the two heroes, this was Danny the Street’s super-heroic debut.

Since then Danny the Street has aided the Teen Titans several times, providing a path to victory in his own inimitable style.

Powers & Abilities

Danny’s primary abilities are teleportation and regeneration. Beyond being a sentient streetway, Danny is able to teleport around the planet by sliding himself into a city’s natural landscape. He can also emerge in smaller areas, sometimes as just a patch of brick flooring. When Danny appears, the city just magically manages to make room for him.

Danny’s primary means of communicating are through the many signs and windows that adorn his layout, though he is also capable of communicating through telephones patched into his layout.
