History
Cold Blooded
Nathan Price knew at an early age that there was something wrong with him. In his early teens, jealous Nathan drowned his baby brother in his bath tub. His parents’ deep mourning only further angered Nathan, to the point where Nathan planned to kill his parents as well. Silently creeping into their room as they slept, Nathan intended to stabs his parents to death. But at the last moment, Nathan left the knife at the foot of their bed and left his home – never to return.
Feeling detached from humanity, Nathan lived on the streets earning money by prostituting himself. So sickened by his own actions, Nathan murdered his customers and stole their money without an ounce of remorse.

Tail of Terror
The down-and-out teen was approached by the Clock King to join his team of Terror Titans. Equipping Nathan with a super-powered suit, Nathan Price became the new Copperhead.
As a member of the Terror Titans, Nathan didn’t interact much with his team mates. Clock King instructed lone Nathan to care for the meta-human known as TNTeena, who was injured during one of Clock King’s underground Dark Side Club brawls. TNTeena grew to care for Nathan, as he helped nurse her back to health.
Clock King’s final test for Copperhead was meant to discern whether Nathan had any conscience at all. He instructed Nathan to kill TNTeena. Nathan led TNTeena to believe they were escaping the Dark Side Club together, only to force TNTeena to overload her own powers and kill herself. As she begged Nathan for help with her last breath, Copperhead not only passed his final test, he also proved he had no conscience whatsoever.

Meanwhile, Clock King created his own meta-human militia of brainwashed super-teens, and ordered them to cause senseless destruction in Los Angeles.
But once Ravager and MIss Martian freed the enthralled super-powered teens from Clock King’s control, only the Terror Titans stood to oppose a small army of meta-teen heroes. Clock King subsequently murdered Disruptor and abandoned the remaining Terror Titans, which led to their eventual defeat. Dreadbolt, Copperhead and Persuader were initially captured, but later escaped and co-opted the former Dark Side Club headquarters. Together, they vowed to one day exact revenge on the Clock King.
